ANPR Cameras will capture license plates as vehicles passed the stationary or mobile camera installations and via OCR or automatic character recognition processes a match of the plate will be searched for in the database and a result will be projected within a few hundred milliseconds.

More than 145 permanent camera sites were installed over the last 20 years. TCS processed violations from permanent sites throughout the country and with an images success-rate of more than 95%.
TCS is known for providing camera systems with the best photographic image quality and were also the leading service provider for the supply and installation of side-flash technology. The technique is known for its unique features such as ensuring plate visibility and rich colour display during night enforcement.
Once the camera site is approved qualified technicians can install and activate a permanent site within 24-hours.

In 2014 TCS joint forces with a overseas supplier and developed the latest laser mobile camera to provide a cost effective solution for Municipalities with budget constraints.

Ticketing System

TCS Developed the Ticketing Handheld System to accommodate Traffic Enforcement Agencies to issue Traffic Fines to motorists without issuing the traditional written document/notification.

The document takes approximately 15-minutes to complete on the roadside and must also be processed once the written notification is handed back for capturing.

Fines can take up to two weeks before it is on the Traffic System. It delays the payment process and the public are frustrated in the process.

The new Ticketing System updated the Servers at the Traffic Department via API-technology and traffic fines are updated in real-time.
